Q. Can you suggest some easy, healthy snacks?

Q.  Can you suggest some easy snacks to get me from one meal to the next without piling on the weight?

A. How about one of these:

  • Hummous dip with carrot and celery sticks (we like Black Swan brand)
  • 2 Vita-Weats with a thin slice of cheese
  • 150g tub of low-fat fruit yoghurt
  • 4 prunes
  • 1 rice cake spread with peanut butter (buy whole grain)
  • Small pack of Weight Watchers potato crisps
  • Mug of hot vegetable or pumpkin soup
