Simple yet stunning, make this easy dessert when nectarines are in season. Works well with peaches too.
4 ripe nectarines
4 tablespoons brown sugar
Serve with:
250g fresh ricotta
2 tablespoons honey
1. Cut nectarines into halves and remove stone.
2. Place sugar in a bowl, dip nectarines into sugar cut side down to coat the flesh.
3. Place under hot griller for 5 minutes or until sugar has melted. Arrange two halves on a plate or bowl, add a wedge of ricotta then drizzle with a little honey.
