Nutrition is a young science and this is reflected in the way its guiding concepts change as new studies appear. When enough of these, of good quality, are published, we change the way we view things in food. Despite this, the central core of nutrition remains the same :
eat more fresh fruits and vegetables and salads;
cook for yourself from scratch rather than buying take-away or using packet mixes and meal bases;
go easy on sugar and salt;
cook with healthier fats;
