Got some bananas that are too-ripe? Don't throw them out. Mash and use to whip up these easy muffins.
520 kilojoules (124 Calories), 3g fat (including 1g saturated fat), 19g carbohydrate (including 6g sugars), 2g fibre and 200mg sodium. Read our nutrition rating system.
1. Place cereal in a mixing bowl. Add milk, egg and sugar. Mix to combine. Allow to stand for 10 minutes.
2. Mash banana with margarine. Stir into bran mixture. Add sifted flour and cinnamon. Mix with a wooden spoon until almost combined.
3. Spoon into a 12-serve large muffin tray which has been sprayed or lightly oiled.
4. Bake in a moderate oven (180°C/350°F) for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
